What identifies it

Because a RV is a highway motor vehicle, the federal odometer disclosure under 49 U.S.C. § 32705 applies on transfer for most units under 20 model years old — in Mississippi and in every other state. What to confirm with Mississippi Department of Revenue

- Does the state require the odometer disclosure on its own form, in addition to the federal statement on the bill of sale?
- Must the seller file a release of liability or notice of transfer, and within how long?
