By using paperworkmax.com or the Paperwork Max app (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy, and to our Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
Paperwork Max is self-help document software plus optional AI research tools. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and using the Service does not create an attorney–client relationship. You are the author of every document you generate. Please read the Legal Disclaimer — it is part of these Terms and it explains what a bill of sale does and does not accomplish.
Sign-in uses a one-time link sent to your email; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure and for anyone who uses your account.
Deal links are unguessable but unauthenticated. Anyone holding a document's link can view that document. Send it only to the other party.
You keep ownership of everything you submit. You grant us only the permission needed to run the Service: to store your content, render it into your document, email it to the parties to your deal, and — for the AI features you choose to use — transmit it to our AI provider to produce a result.
You agree that:
Do not use the Service to: create a false, backdated, or fraudulent record; understate a sale price to evade tax; impersonate anyone; forge a signature or sign on someone's behalf without authority; harass or defame anyone; upload malware; scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; or resell it as your own. We may suspend or remove accounts and documents that violate this section.
Your first bill of sale is free, and signing a document someone else sent you is always free and needs no account. VIN decoding, safety recall lookups and the state directory are free with no account.
After the first, a completed bill of sale is $4.99 per deal, or $9.99 per month for unlimited deals plus the AI features. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, cancel at any time from your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Because access is delivered immediately, fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law — though if something goes genuinely wrong, write to us and we will make it right.
Billing has not started. At the time of writing no charge is made for anything on the Service and no payment method is collected. An earlier version of these Terms described a $10 per month plan and described the paperwork as free forever; if you registered under those terms and believe you are affected, contact us and we will honour what you signed up to.
We may change prices with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for. Payments are processed by a third-party processor and we never receive your full card details.
AI features return automated estimates, not facts. Deal scores, risk percentages, price ranges, and repair figures are informational and frequently imprecise. Any reference to a “potential scam” or risk is a software assessment of patterns, not an assertion that a particular person has done anything wrong. Do not rely on AI output in place of a mechanic's inspection, a VIN history report, or your own judgment.
We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut the Service down, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your completed documents.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any document will be accepted by any agency, court, bank, or insurer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, including losses arising from a transaction you entered into or from reliance on AI output. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paperwork Max and its operators from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your transactions with any counterparty, or your violation of these Terms or of any law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to first try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support@paperworkmax.com. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
We do not settle disputes between a buyer and a seller. A dispute over a vehicle, a payment, or a transaction is between the two of you.
We may update these Terms; the date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the Service after a material change means you accept it. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
